I love love love mers! I esp. enjoy seeing the male mer-characters and think that they need more attention in the world. So, with that being said- I am currently working on chapters of this fic called 'Merman in Wonderland' 
So, I know what you're probably already thinking- "A merman, in wonderland?... what a silly idea- why would anyone write that?"  
My response: "Why Not?" The main reason why I chose to do this ridiculous story idea was because it's so absurd. Like, it's something that no one has really put together before and so, what's stopping me from being the first to actually do it? I like to think that the most unappealing and random ideas are usually the most surprisingly satisfying ones to both the writer and the reader.
Second good reason why I write it is as a beneficial therapy to me. I think many creative artist and storytellers can admit to you that they totally enjoy putting characters into unlikely and uncomfortable situations -aka-torturing- to relieve some stress, and I do agree it works to an extent. 
(Sorry-not-sorry Alex lol) 


So that being said. I am definitely going to finish the 'Merman in Wonderland' story to the very end, & I'm quite determined to surprise you by doing so. ;)
