If you want books like nico from Runaway then I recommend reading the made series by Danielle Lori.

Brutal prince by Sophie lark.
And if you know author Rina Kent she have a whole lot of dark romance book such as the Deception trilogy.
And Heartless (chestnut spring series) by Elsie silver although it’s a whole series but you can read it as standalone.
