njord lodbrok , once a norseman who became king of rygjafylke. he was raised as a craftsman son , gaining the skills of blacksmithing , shipbuilding , woodworking , and metalworking . he sought wealth to gain new land when he was in his mid twenties. joining on a expedition to raid up and down the british isles . over the years of his mid twenties and early thirties njord earned himself the name njord the red hand . he had stained his hands red with blood , and would keep the blood on his skin as a warning to others that their blood might be next . he became king of rygjafylke after usurping the previous king . as king he had ruled with an iron fist of rygjafylke , executing many from treason to petty reasons. everything changed when rygjafylke was attacked by vampires , the port had been burned down and the people had been slaughtered . including njord’s own family . njord and the twelve norsemen closest to njord who had survived made an oath , to kill the monsters who slaughtered their people no matter what . njord had gotten his vengeance striking down the monsters who killed his people and his loved ones , but during the battle he had been wounded fatally . dying with his oath , upon death he had became a dark elf originated from his thrive for power , wealth , and need for vengeance . today he is a dark elf who is tied to his oath of hunting and killing all monsters.
