At least they can write. Go hate somewhere else. This author may not be the best but at least they have the courage to try. They are far from the worst I’ve seen. If you don’t like the writing go find another book, another author. Just because you don’t like it doesn’t mean you can make the author feel bad about. If you have to express your opinion do it nicely. Offer a suggestion don’t just say it’s bad. What makes it bad? The plot? The gramma? Spelling? Tell them why it’s bad and they have a chance of fixing it. Otherwise just leave quietly.

            Just because you didn't like it dosen't mean you have to hate on em 
            Cut em some slack and instead of insulting them , politely say on what could be improved .
