After almost a year of silence, I bring you new chapters of the Saga of Wyatt and Chiron Acadamials. Two new chapters dropping tomorrow afternoon and for the next three Fridays after that. (I wanted to make sure you have enough to sate your hunger before I posted anything.) The end of the book is approaching.

Just realized I have zero siblings at Chiron. I really like the idea of two siblings. Maybe their reason they are both raised by an ex C lister who had to retire and get a real job but they trained their kids into it succeed where the parent failed.
Flying Grayson themed? Go full on Romani acrobats?

A bit late for this book probably but maybe later.

@Fegemenge your words have spurred me onwards. I've been sitting on a rough draft for a new chapter for a week or two. I should have it ready today or tomorrow.

Are these new chapter announcements too gratuitous? Who knows, man. Anyways, I just published the next part. It was, ummmm, a few more days than I said in the last post. I will at least partially blame it on the lil autoimmune disease I have giving me the big tireds. Even now, I write to you from a place of deep desire to just lay back down. Also, a place of the public library near my house because I find it easier to focus there.

As far as progress towards the end of the book goes, I had at one point figured it would take me like 15 more sections from where I am now, which is both a lot (especially at my current writing pace) and not very much (skydiving is all good and fun until you have to land). I do usually have the tendency to longer than shorter so expect that number to be overshot, but, killing no darlings, that gives you an idea of where we are.

Though speaking of darlings, I am toying with incorporating a scene or two of a school dance. Not just because it's a high school story and it's required, but because I think it would be fun for advancements of the quasi love triangle that exists between Wyatt, Mariah and Amy.

In more inspiring news, I heard a quote recently that you can't have a bad first draft because all your first draft has to be is done. And dang, I find that inspiring. While I definitely don't actually show you guys my rough drafts (because I actually want people to read these), I do like the idea being finished and imperfect is better than unfished.

New chapter up, y'all.

As Wyatt checks Lt. Davis's lead on criminal Omni, location, will he find the evidence he needs? And will it be enough to convince the other authorities to finally pursue the case against the local crime lord, Palmer Valdez?

The next session is almost complete as well. That should be up in the next day or two.

Question for anyone following the most recent chapters of Chiron Academy:

Do you feel like Wyatt needs a win? Should he get a situation where he gets an (earned )victory?

I purposefully make him struggle a lot, but it strikes me that he as ended up being a reactive character and sometimes it's fun to have to a character use their skills and succeed. And I don't know that I've given Wyatt that. Any thoughts?
