Earlier this month, in Florianópolis (SC), Brazil, a dog named Orelha was brutally killed after an episode of extreme violence by four teenagers. This case is gaining national attention because, so far, there has been no effective accountability, as those involved belong to influential families and measures have been taken to remove them from the country (Disney - USA), while people who are demanding justice are allegedly suffering intimidation attempts.
          This is not about politics.
          It's not about social class.
          It's about accountability, animal protection, and the type of society we are normalizing.
