So I saw Homecoming and holy god it was amazing! That twist though! Didn't see that coming at all! Loved it.

But it's not going to change anything regarding Black as Night. I'm going to finish the first book (yes I said first) and I'm debating on having two epilogues or doing a post credits scene thing like Marvel does.

I will be addressing Civil War.

The sequel to Black as Night (yes you heard right) will take place after Civil War and and I do want to incorporate elements of Homecoming, because I couldn't stop thinking about Onyx while watching it and my mind has been going ever since.

Before anything happens, I will have to talk to my friend who actually created Onyx! When I was starting all my planning for this universe way back when there were only going to be like eleven stories, I had my trusty notebook in hand, went to class and turned to my best friend and said, "create a character for me to write about." She was, hell, is in love with Spiderman so she chose him as the love interest and for the whole day we created her name and backstory and everything.

Back to the point, before I do anything regarding Homecoming, I have to talk to her about what she thinks I should do. What she thinks we should do, I should say. We'll do some plotting and then I can get going on it.

Long story short; Homecoming was amazing! Parts of it will be incorporated into Black as Night sequel, but it won't be affecting the story heavily (Michelle ≠ MJ in my universe).

I'm feeling a lot of writer's block with just about everything right now. I'm doing my best, but having to force Diana into hiatus has really discouraged me. I'm doing my best, but I could stare at my stories and watch the cursor blink at me for hours and get nothing. Everything that I've written recently came from a single line or picture in my head and then me just going with it as I keep writing.

tl;dr? I don't know when the next update is coming.

theprincess-aurora

Okay, so new schedule.

I will not be posting on weekends.
Since I am going to have so many stories on the go, my new rule is that not every story will get updated every week. There will be at least ONE new chapter for EVERY story EACH MONTH. I repeat, ONE CHAPTER a MONTH, AT THE VERY LEAST, for EACH STORY.
This doesn't mean that you have to wait a month for the next chapter of your favourite story. Not at all. This means that I am no longer going to feel obligated to update every story every week. There will be more than one chapter a month for these stories, there might be two, or three, or even four. But it will be more of an "as I write" sort of thing. If I have a new chapter each week, I'll update it. If I don't, then I won't. Simple as that.

I think I've decided to take weekends off. No posting will happen on Saturday or Sunday or if I'm away during the week. I will keep writing since I enjoy writing these stories, but it'll be one less thing for me to worry about on the weekends and give me time to focus on other things like homework or the online course I'm failing because I'm a terrible procrastinator.
