With the closing of Kindle Vella, I'm bringing back The Mystery of Miss Burke for the time being. I hope you enjoy reading or rereading my take on a Cinderella Regency retelling!

@thequietwriter Can't wait to read it again! ❤

First of all, I just want to say that I love love love your style of writing!

I know that good writers read a lot and so I’m curious what some of your favorite books/authors are!

Also, I see that you’ve come down with Covid recently, and I hope you’re feeling a little better since then! I, myself, have been struggling with a cold (or something), for the past week or so.

I hope and pray we both feel better soon!
          Merry Christmas!

@GuinevereGresham Thank you so much! I've enjoyed seeing all your comments (I hope I haven't missed replying to any of them!).

As to favorite books/authors, that's a tough question! I love classic authors, like Jane Austen, Georgette Heyer, and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. There are some modern authors I enjoy, like Julie Klassen, Sarah M. Eden, and Andrea Penrose. But I also like reading history books and biographies because they're so interesting!

Just when I thought I was getting things together, I come down with COVID. I hope you all will forgive me if there are some comments I don't respond to...

LiritBeauPre

@thequietwriter Happy to hear you are better. I hope you can prioritise rest, COVID was awful as I remember.
All your characters' adventures are very enjoyable and I am very grateful you are sharing them with us ❤️

Hello! I hope you're all having a great fall/winter, whatever season you're in! I have been dealing with some health stuff (my doctor and I think we're on the right track!). Anyway, I'm dropping this message so you can get excited because...JULIET IS BACK! She and Mr. Harper get to work together in this one, and they are going to butt heads.

So stayed tuned for next Friday for the beginning of Behind the Stage.

So what happens to Juliette after Clarendon Estate?

LolaBentz

@thequietwriter she's got a character herself lol
Reply

thequietwriter

@LolaBentz Well, I'm glad you're enjoying it even if it's not your usual reading! Juliet is one of my favorite characters.

@LolaBentz I'm so not a fan of mystery and I was browsing for historical romance/paranormal and fell on your books. All this just to say Juliet Sinclair has me hooked ❤️I don't want Celia or Eugenia or Rose Dunbar. I love you Julie. She's survived the tragedy and trouble of a whole town all by herself
