'To Break a Fall' began with a different name, different characters, different ideas in my head. when i put it down on paper for the first time, it did not look the way it does now. after years of writing and editing and rewriting and editing, this is it. forty chapters of cora and quill. forty chapters about so much more than just cora and quill. thank you for loving them and getting to know them and understanding them. i am sure, full of flaws that they are, they would love you too.
          	
          	it's easier to love, it really is. admitting it - as if loving is a crime - that, i believe, is harder.
