Relating to my last post, International Womens Day is a day to celebrate and honour all the strong women around us, but i also feel like it should be a day to honour the women who were killed for the sake of "honour." Women such as 
          
          -Jassi Sidhu
          -Banaz Mahmod
          -the Shafia sisters 
          -Heshu Yones 
          -Samia Sarwar
          -Ghazala Khan 
          -Samaira Nazir
          -Sadia Sheikh
          -Peta Atroshi
          -Farzana Paveen 
          -Shafilea Ahmed
          
          And these are just the women who i thought of at the top of my head. These women are the reason why we need to keep fighting for the rights of ALL women.These women were killed due to the misogyny that surrounded them. Lets try to remember, IWD isn't a day to celebrate "pussy power," its a day to celebrate women everywhere, especially those who have died because they were born a woman. With that being said, I hope all of you had a wonderful day.
