There are many arguments just because the rules have changed. We didn’t thought that the existing voted would be removed. We can know what you feel, but we have already read all the selected books. And throughout the process, we found that many good books actually do not get the votes when paired up. That’s the main reason to change the rules. In order to comphensate, we extended the voting stage.

@thescribblersawards I agree that you have some reasons for changing the rules.. but you can't be rude to the authors if they wants to take down their books from the event.. they decided to participate on the rules you previously published and now after changing the rules if they don't want to participate.. let them leave.. it's their decision if they want to participate or not.. you can't force anyone..and atleast be a little nice to people.. you are not charging anything for participating that doesn't mean you can be rude to your participants just because they wants to take down their books from the event..

            We personally read each selected entries. Sorry to say, when they are paired up, many good books shows the chance to loose just because of the lack to voters. Inorder to clear that, we made Round 1 as the common voting stage, and then the most voted 10 books will select to the next round. Each vote for the books will be taken as their point. These points are calculated and decides the final 3 winners. That plainly means, each vote is valuable.
