i’ll have to think about it - i mean i’m pretty sure james wants to be best man as well - 

regulus gave a soft sigh , " i can’t sirius — i can’t just leave . " he was smiling a bit sadly , the smile on his lips because he felt as though his brother still cared for him . he ran a hand through his usually perfectly combed hair , " it’s too late for me . just , just promise you’ll remember me ? "

            sirius’s eyes widened . “ no , just come to our side , reg . you don’t have to start a revolution of your own just ,” sirius got a tad emotional but was covering it up , “ be with me and my mates . we’ll protect one another and , it’ll be fine , i don’t want you getting hurt .” 

regulus gave a soft sigh , " i know it is . but as time goes on , it seems , it seems you may have chosen the proper side in the end . i’ve seen the things they do — they’re terrible . but i’m going to stop it — i will . " the teen had a plan , he knew it would most likely kill him but he knew what he had to do . 

athena looked to the ground , she thought for a moment as she silently looked down . she wanted to be with him more than anything , but she couldn’t , could she ? she gave a soft sigh , " i know sirius — no . i just want to be with you , that is all . i - i care about the traditions but not as much as that man , i hate it - he’s made me kill , and torture , and they’re all innocent . " she tugged on her nose ring a bit , a nervous habit of hers . she looked up at sirius as he spoke and her icy eyes widened , she was in complete shock , she stayed silent for a few moments before she spoke her voice a whisper , " i love you too . "

            sirius shoved his hands back into his pockets and frowned gently , “okay ,” he murmured. he listened , nodding slowly and he hated every minute of it . he loved her and he would always try to show her that. tell her that. but he couldn’t because he didn’t want to be awkward . but now they were in this situation and it was more awkward on his end . because he didn’t know if she loved him . “ i couldn’t stay athena . do you see how ruthless that man is ? and you want me to obey a murderer? “ he frowned before suddenly blurting out the thought that irked him the most , “ i love you. “

athena gave a small shrug , " it’s the truth . " she knew she had hurt him and ever bit of her being regretted it . she hated crying and she hated to seem as though she was sensitive . athena like to try and pride herself on being the toughest of the tough , which was why she almost never cried , and she never really told people she loved them . she felt as though it made her seem weak but at the moment , she felt truly defeated . she gently pushed his hand away , " i’m fine . " she said it with almost a crack in her voice . she gave a soft sigh , " because i’m not like you sirius - i can’t get away from it . i’m a death eater — they’ll always find me . you can never just quit — " she looked up to meet his eyes as she spoke , " because , it would be better if you hated me . it would be easier to move on — but i can’t do it . i’m too fucking weak to do it . i wish you just stayed — it could have been so much easier . now i have to choose — they’ll kill me , you know they will . "
