hi i'm kinda late to this convo but vocaloid isn't dead actually! there are still tons of producers who still make songs and don't forget the upcoming miku expo concert that will be held virtually! there are still awesome songs in 2020 and 2021 that are pretty popular amongst the masses of japan (and sometimes the west, too) and some popular singers in the west even made some small collabs with miku. they also made a new app game called project sekai and literally everyone in japan is playing it. i'm sure you've already heard of the game though, it's pretty fun! i hope you're still a fan of vocaloid and it'd be a shame to leave so soon. as i said, songs are still being made and you should also look up other vocaloids, like flower for example. i love every flower song and a lot of producers in the vocaloid community make songs with flower all the time. you should check her out! i didn't plan to make this comment that long sorry ^^'' i just get really carried away when i'm talking about vocaloid lol
