@thethirdnarrator 1. Excellent! And, thanks. 2. If you're up for an alternative, consider Kouchiro spotting a second NerveGear and copy of Sword Art Online at the cabin. When asked, Rinko says that it's her's, as Kayaba apparently anticipated that she'd find him and left them for her. She is talked into forking them over. If you still want Mayumi to find them and tear into Kou about them, maybe he hears her coming into his room and hastily puts them in an ill-considered hiding place (the closet, but he leaves the door ajar, or under his bed but Mayu pops in before he can get back on his feet, either of which gets her curious). Thoughts? 3. I repeat, excellent! 4. Oh, that's right! It was called by a different name AND served a different function before Kayaba's little gimmick went into effect. Perhaps when he DOES learn about the Monument, he facepalms most epically? 5. If you do that, the character creation would be a likely place. And, glad I could be of help. @Falchion1984 Thank you for taking the time for making these questions for me! Although, some of my answers for them may be spoilers, I’ll try not to spoil too much! 1. Kirishima will be canon in the fic since the fanfic will be somewhat canon compliant to the original stories lore. Future chapters will show Kouchirou finding out about Kirito’s and Asuna’s relationship, but how he’ll react to it is something you have to find out later. 2. I’m not sure if I specified about how Kouchirou had that second nerve gear in the current chapters, but basically it was a birthday gift for Asuna and the one Asuna was using was originally his. But I am open to hear an alternate explanation you have in mind! 3. LC will 100% affect Kouchirou! Especially with what will happen to the people he meets, how he watches Vassago go mad as he plays as PoH. Especially once he meets Akihiko again and finds out his motivations. 4. Kouchirou does not know about the Monument of Life yet since he arrived to the game late. Next chapter he’ll find out about it and check to make sure Asuna is still alive! 5. The fanfiction isn’t entirely canon-compliant, it’s my fault for not mentioning that in the story’s summary, I’ll be sure to fix that! I could’ve sworn I mentioned Kouchirou choosing his weapon, but it was a long time ago since I’ve recently picked up the fanfic again! Thank you again for the questions!
