***UPDATES***
I have not updated in a while, I know! I was camping 2 weeks ago which completely derailed my writing rhythm of a chapter a week (I was writing before the story was published). Chapter four of The Dark Part One: Diseased will be posted June 25th at the latest.

Unlike The Dark, I did very little planning in advance for Confessions of a Modern Mage: The Seals of Blood, so it took a bit of work to get chapter four off the ground. In addition to that, COAMM's chapters are about 2-3 times as long as The Dark's chapters and therefore take about twice as much time to write. I'm also trying to finish that one by June 25th at the latest. I apologize for not updating; I do actually have a life.

***UPDATE***

I've been lucky enough to get much more writing done than I thought I would this week. As a result, my new story, The Dark Part One will launch with a total of 3 chapters! After it's published on June 5th, new chapters will be published as they are completed, which I hope to be about twice a week, possibly more often once school is out!

Hey! I'm proud to announce my new story: The Dark Part One: Diseased, which goes live on June 5th! I'm very excited about this story; I've never written something like it before! Here's the synopsis:

Umbraia Malavalatia Psychosis. Better known as 'The Dark'; a sickness of the mind caused by an unknown supervirus. Symptoms include suddenly violent behavior, anger, depression, fevering, and later, a mind-numbing cold. Once someone breaks out, they start to crave the one thing a Darklurker can live on: the souls of man.

The Dark is regularly misdiagnosed as a whole host of mental illnesses, from Bipolar disorder to personality disorders to simple attention-seeking. Subsequently, most afflicted by the Dark don't even know they have it. But everyone knows when their eyes turn red, and the skin around them becomes a sickly black.

Infected with the sickness and given only a month before he goes insane, Dean isn't ready to curl up and die. Following the footsteps of a Dark scientist who went missing, Dean sets out with a group of Darklings to find a cure for the Dark.

But the government isn't interested in a cure. In a campaign of fear and hysteria, the world's leaders have begun assassinating Darklings and legalizing their murder. The people who once protected Dean and his friends are now out for their lives. On the run and with his internal clock ticking, Dean must win the war in his mind before the Dark overtakes him, his friends, and the world.
