Watched bohemian rhapsody again last night. Such a great movie. Rami Malek did a good job. In my opinion he deserved the Oscar.

As someone who’s lived in Chicago for 23 long years, I’m very upset with what Jussie Smolett did. At first I was like, I cannot believe this happened in my city. And I felt pity for him. NO ONE should have to go through any kind of hate. Then I kept hearing on the news about how bad Chicago is. And Chicago getting it’s named thrown in the garbage like wtf. Then it comes out this was all a hoax and I was a little confused. I watch Empire so I was like wtf yeah okay. And then more and more people were talking about it. And then he was charged and I was like wow. This man threw Chicago under a damn bus for what? A publicity stunt?!

@HappyHogan yeah I understand. I’m honestly really confused because he says it’s not fake and it’s real but how can we believe him? After everything that came out? I agree with you credibility it going to be doubted now.

I live an hour ish away from Chicago and feel the same way. I feel he has ruined the credibility to those who will be affected by hate crimes in the future and doubt will be casted on every single one because he couldn’t get the pay he wanted. I always say innocent until proven guilty, as I think one should, but officials seem pretty confident in their story and Jussie being the culprit in his own crime.
