Just wanted to drop that In teen spirit, Lucas canonically has adhd and dyslexia + superpowers, and he gets bullied for all of those things and it made him learn to hate himself and Klaus canonically thinks it's his fault he has to deal with all of those things because he heard that drugs during conception could increase risk of adhd and dyslexia plus the doctor that he has superpowers, so he thinks it's his fault his son has to suffer and he hates himself for that
