Three years since my last sign of life
Logging onto this app feels like opening Pandora’s box, I really shouldn’t have, but now I have to live with the consequences.
I don’t like seeing what I read as a literal child and even less what I WROTE. Who allowed me access to this app? And why did I feel the need to comment on terrible smutty oneshots like I had any business being there? To be fair though, I think most people reading this have a similar experience or are still living it right now!
Im keeping my stories up for now since it’s quite entertaining in a way, maybe some day I’ll be too embarrassed and take them down for good…
Soooo what have I been up to the past couple of years? Well! I did a year abroad in Brighton, had the time of my life and healed in many ways. (I also met Tommyinnit for anyone seeing this because of my dnf fic) I changed schools when I came back home, made many new friends and graduated successfully. Now I’m starting uni this fall.
My interest have changed quite a lot and so has my personality! But one thing hasn’t. I still love fanfic. About 3 years ago after my last sign of life here I gradually moved over to Ao3 and now Genuenly never will look back. I’ve also acquired some new ships! I now mostly ready heated rivalry and marauders fanfics, specifically jegulus (so I’m reluctant to read atyd since it’s jily)
I don’t really write anymore, although I occasionally get a burst of inspiration. If I ever do decide to publish anything ever again I most likely will do so on both Wattpad and Ao3 so you’ll also get the good stuff. And what’s with the smut ban everyone is talking about? Guess Ao3 is gonna get a lot more popular the next couple of months with everyone migrating…
Well I’m looking forward to seeing how everything turns out. See you in another three years I guess?
