I miss having things in common with people

my brain thinks i can be in a band the way guys are in a band but i prob can't 
          ive bewn wanting to be in a band for the past year ish but ive kind of realized if i do start a band with my friends we'll prob be seen as like  a "pushover girl band" or smth which is disappointing
          i doubt we'd be taken seriously 
          bc ther are some guys in my school who are in a band but i know the one in my grade thijnks im a pick me so i doubt they'd  take us seriously 
          and maybe im freaking out because my part of my city has like no music scene as far as i know
          like in more if the downtown area there are shows and in the less farm-y places there are shows 
          and i dont know about any shows put on by other high schoolers (which is prob my problelm, i realy want an in person community to talk about music with bc none of my friends are into my specific genres, they all like alternative)
          but i cant drive yet, and most of the shows are at least a 20 minute drive away 
          i have 1 friend who's friends are all super in the scene over where hse lives (whic is in the more downtown area)nd they go to shows a ton
          and like i want that

My mum is watching a baking show rn and she says one of the guys is the cake decorating equivalent of nardwaur
