my almost 6 y/o stepsister told my mum she loves her yesterday while i was baking cookies. today she told me she loves me. out of the blue. just casually walked in and said it. my heart is on the floor, nobody told her or made her say it. she means it. we aren’t even legally siblings yet. maybe life is worth another shot after all…
