Also, you ever look back at stuff you used to write and realise how awful you were. Then you write more stuff and think its amazing but a year later, you'll probably come back, re-read it and think its horrible. Just an endless cycle.

Currently working on something that I am very excited about. I'm planning a Dystopian novel set in a very far into the future version of the United Kingdom, where the system is much more like the US - states with people to govern over them. The difference is, they have Kings and Queens (although this is just a title for purposes of political power, and really just means Dictator) and a Senator to represent the people to the King/Queen.

The idea is that the Senators of most of the States are angry at how their country is being run by people who aren't really aligned with the public, and so they create an organisation that plots the downfall of the system and the creation of a new order in the country.

One issue: the group has gotten out of hand, and the president and the higher officials are willing to do whatever is in their power to take control and power, whether that's spread a deadly disease around the country or drop weapons of mass destruction on cities to create distrust around their kings.

I'm currently in the process of writing Book 1, with the intention of titling it 'We Are Catastrophe', with a a protagonist that has been newly enrolled into the organisation and is slowly figuring out their true evils and intentions. I'm much more excited about the antagonists however, one of which is a man obsessive over weapons of all kind and delights in watching the destructive side of humanity, and the other being a woman who uses her intelligence and knowledge to influence human nature at its core, creating biological weapons that alter people's very minds and bodies.

I have also planned out a 5 book series for this, but that will be a long way into the future. Book 1 will probably take me the better part of a year to write, but, once it is done, I will release probably 2 chapters a week on here.

Anyway, I just thought I'd let people know what my next plans are. I'm happy to answer any questions!

new poem is out! It's called 'Am I using the right font?' and its a pretty weird one. It stems from the idea that we're never really sure whether we'll get to live the life we dream about, and also the idea that while the world dissolves into chaos over time, all we're thinking about is work, not truly living like we should be allowed to.

          hope you enjoy :)

don't you love it when someone tells you to stop writing about them and put your pen down, and then they write about 5 more poems about you

          hypocrisy at its most hilarious

@thom2322 In a similar sort of situation here except it's with book characters with similar storylines to ours , then again I just let them feel what they feel; it's a good starting point for inspiration if they know it means something to them

you ever get bored and create an entire universe where an underground organisation is creating weapons of mass destruction to overthrow world leaders, and fabricating wars to place certain people in power?

          ok I'll admit I'm a weird person
