There are times when you leave me with so many questions but then I remember its better I don't know the answer to them.

@irresistablecharm ( of course . / marriage / . that’s all pureblood parents seemed to focus on these days . finding a suitable match for their children . it was what they were destined for , per say . evelyn rose her eyebrow , picking up her apple again and taking a bite of the fruit. ) it could be worse. there’s nothing wrong with the selwyn’s . they’re decent I guess . why , who were you / expecting / him to pick ? did you have another ‘ family name ‘ that you have in mind ? ( she asked him , tilting her head to the side, curiously . evelyn pursed her lips for a moment , silently observing as she leaned back comfortably . ) either way , there’s not much choice in the matter . marriage is inevitable . . . but you might have a say over / who / . you should still have a choice in who . so . . . what are you going to do ?

* it wouldn't be the first time he had agreed to one of his father's hair brained schemes and no doubt it wouldn't be the last. fortunately for him, they normally fizzled out as quickly as they appeared, though this one might be sticking around a little longer than some of the previous ones * It's nothing serious. He just thinks it would be a good idea to make a match with a member of the Selwyn family. Though why, I have no idea. We've never had a lot to do with them, and it's not like there aren't other pureblood heiresses in the school. Just call me confused, more than anything else. It wasn't quite who I was expecting him to pick. * honestly, sometimes having things like this dumped on him was enough to give him grey hair. he was beginning to feel rather like an old man before it was even time to *

@irresistablecharm ( evelyn’s eyebrow rose as he waved the letter towards her , her side leaning against the edge of the table as she listened intently . ) fathers are . . . difficult . ( as were annoying twin brothers , but she wouldn’t go into that . ). okay . I know it’s / none / of my business , and feel free to tell me to shove off if need be … but are you sure you want to agree to something when you don’t even know what you’re agreeing / to / . that could potentially be more risky than asking a question . ( the rosier girl pointed out , arching her eyebrow . though a grimace soon settled on her features at his last comment , picking up her drink , taking a sip . he had a point . ) cheers to that . ( the witch tried to keep her . . . / visions / quiet . she didn’t need the entire school muttering on about how she saw and knew things that she shouldn’t . but in a slightly more abstract way , she had an idea about how he felt . the things she saw wasn’t always clear , and having the answers to everything wasn’t always a bonus . in most cases , it was a burden . but you had to be choosy . in this case , it sounded like augustus really / should / be asking questions . evelyn didn’t think she’d ever seen his face so shocked before . )
