Okay so this happened a few days ago:
Brother: "You're so afraid of your uke strings breaking, they're like the four strings of your life."
Me: "Well I already have three broken strings."
I meant it as a reference, but it makes sense to me, too. I'm living off of one last string that can easily be broken.
