i changed for us,     i didn’t change towards you or mom or anyone else in our family.      i know it was some childish thing we promised back then but i actually believed in it.      and before you mock me on believing in something,      it was one of the few things that helped me keep faith after the incident.       it’s what really drove me into wanting to change for us.       but even if we did change,     what did we do to have you dislike us     ?     you know,    natalie often asks of your return.      mom still thinks about you.      isla would ask about how you were when we were little.

Taking in his words her eyes softened a bit   *             Dislike , not hate    *   She corrected , her tone softer than normal     *               People change   .
