You know what I hate? When an author goes on fuck it mode and tells readers how the book is hers/his and how s/he will update at their own time. It doesn't hurt to be respectful to your readers even if you feel like you're under pressure. Just politely inform them that you're under pressure and will probably be offline for a few days/weeks/months.
