I wanted this to be a black girl joy fantasy without too much angst. I was trying to avoid stereotypes and I had to factor in her showing respect for the Korean culture too. But I can see your point. Maybe she and Hye Jin will have a showdown in the Kindle Unlimited version. Speaking of which, would you be interested in being a beta reader for the next version of the manuscript?
