Hi my name is Emma Tillinghast . I am 16 years old and am in the 11th grade. My favorite hobbies that I love to do are reading, writing, and baking. Christmas and winter are my absolute favorite holiday and season and always will be. I love all Italian food and Olive Garden is my absolute to die for restaurant because of this. And when I grow up my dream job that I want to do is become a best-selling author. I actually have been writing stories since the 2nd grade so that means I have been writing for 7 years. In the 7th grade my favorite teacher MR.Q  just so happened to actually find one of my stories in his class, read it, then, tell me in his own words the next day, that he was utterly captivated by it and adored it all in one sitting. Of course knowing Mr.Q has always taken students talents seriously he had to take it to the next level with me. He asked me then helped me put it online to this website (I totally forgot what it was called so please forgive me) where well known authors of teen books could see it and comment on it. I still remember the day afterwards when I went on that website thinking I was going to get criticized by some of my favorite authors because my stories I thought were a piece of trash that have been sitting in the dumpster for over a year just rotting away to totally mind blown in a second because I literally had reviews from the one and only Stephanie Meyer (Twilight), Ransom Riggs (Miss Peregrines Home for Peculiar Children), Marissa Meyer (Cinder), Rick Riordan (Percy Jackson), Rick Yancey (5th Wave), Veronica Roth (Divergent), and Suzanne Collins (Hunger Games). I was literally blown away because not only did they read it but their comments were all amazing, not one was negative about my story. But ever sense than I have kept on writing since they are obviously successful and always will be to me.
