I just finished reading The Hunger Games for the first time and OH MY FUCKING GOD!!! WHAT THE HELL WHY DID I WAIT SO LONG TO READ IT?! (About to start catching fire, also if anyone wants to know what order I'm reading them I'll put that in my bio, just for a few days)

Okay question and I need you guys to answer. I'm currently writing a pirate romantasy and I have a short story that goes along with the romantasy and my question is if I posted it would any of you read it?

Here's the summary just in case you WOULD read it:
In the maritime kingdom of Sylvaria, the tides are feared as much as they are revered. Sailors whisper of sirens—monsters of myth whose songs lure men to their deaths—and Lysander Averille believes those stories with his whole heart. A siren stole his father from him, and from that moment on, Lysander swore never to trust the sea… or the creatures said to dwell beneath it.

But when a chance encounter draws him into the orbit of Sariah, a siren unlike any he has ever imagined, Lysander is forced to confront the fragile line between truth and legend. Sariah is not the monster he was taught to fear, and as their forbidden bond deepens, so too does the danger surrounding them. The world above would see their love as heresy; the world below would call it betrayal.

Caught between land and sea, silence and song, Lysander and Sariah must decide whether love is worth defying destiny itself. Because some tides cannot be outrun—and some choices echo long after the waves have swallowed their makers whole.
