I haven’t deleted the Riley story because I feel like as long as the story is still on Wattpad, there’s concrete evidence that the rumor is fake and based off of a fanfic. That is the ONLY reason I haven’t deleted it. But now that even Chris himself knows about this rumor, it’s honest to God humiliating. I go back and forth between joking about it myself and wishing that the whole thing would just die.
          
          I also want to re-iterate that while yes, I came up with the Riley Cerulli character, I did not start the rumor that she’s real. I have no idea where that came from. All I can hope is that this just ends up being a harmless, funny thing that the fandom can laugh at. This fandom is so quick to eat people alive - I worry about this hurting my career or other aspects of my personal life if anyone were to know who I was, which is why I’m thankful that I was at least smart enough to keep myself anonymous on this account.
          
          Is this as big a deal as I think it is? Or is this just my anxiety talking? SHOULD I delete it? Or, is it smart to keep it up so that, like I said, there’s proof that this rumor is all a fake?

I am soooooooo close to being ready to publish my next story! It’ll definitely be up by Christmas if not sooner. And I thought I’d give you guys a little info on this new story...
          
          Basically, I rewrote my old story “The Immaculate Misconception”.
          
          I will NOT be deleting the original because I’m sure some of y’all have an attachment to it, and I know how hard it is sometimes when authors delete their stories. However, I do cringe a lot when I re-read that story, haha! I still love the general plot and idea - I just thought I could do it better. So I did! And I’m really proud of this re-write.
          
          So be on the lookout for “Desperate Lies” in the next few weeks!!

Hey guys. So. Um. Apparently the Internet thinks that Riley Cerulli (a character I came up with a LONG time ago) is Chris Motionless’s actual daughter. Obviously followers of mine know that she isn’t, but if you Google “Chris Motionless daughter”, Riley (who is actually Sabrina Carpenter) comes up.
          
          I wanted to just put this lil message up because gossip and drama spreads like WILD FIRE in this fandom (questions about Chris having a daughter have already spread to reddit and probably elsewhere) and I don’t want to be associated with any of that should it happen - pretty much just hoping for the best but preparing for the worst, ya know?
          
          If you’re not a follower of mine but Google told you that Chris Motionless has a daughter named Riley - hi, I’m Scissorhands123 and I’m sorry to burst your bubble but Riley is a made up character that I made up when I was...13? 14? I’m now in my 20’s and cringe at that story so much, the only reason I haven’t deleted it is because it’s my most viewed story and so many people love it, I’m just hoping it won’t come back to bite me in the ass.
          
          PLEASE don’t let it come back to bite me in the ass.
