When I love something, I am over-the-top passionate about it. Let's make a list!
MUSIC: My taste spans from the 1910s jazz and blues up through 1979 and then skips ahead to newer alternative things. My favorite song of all time is “Yes, Indeed” by Tommy Dorsey & His Orchestra from 1941, followed up closely by “Hey Nineteen” by Steely Dan (1980) and “North Side Gal” by JD McPherson (2010).
HOCKEY: Living in Metro Detroit, you better love hockey. I've blogged about it since 2010 and stayed at the Fansided website, Octopus Thrower, the longest (two and a half years). I don't blog often anymore, but 85% of my tweets are hockey-related, so if you follow me, I apologize in advance.
MARVEL: I drank the Kool-Aid. I live for every new feature in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. I love "Marvel's Agents of SHIELD" and "Marvel's Agent Carter." I write at the Fansided website dedicated to comic books, Bam Smack Pow.
DISNEY: Specifically, Disney World. I have been sixteen times in my life. I once gave someone successful directions over the phone on how to get to Earl of Sandwich from Planet Hollywood in Downtown Disney. My record is riding Big Thunder Mountain Railroad 15 times in one trip (9 times in a row one morning).
COFFEE: I worked at Caribou Coffee for six and a half years and then Peet's Coffee & Tea for an additional six months. I miss the atmosphere. That place was my heart and soul for seven years.
WRITING: If you couldn't tell by my blogging at various websites, writing is my passion. I self-published my first novel, "On The Border," in July 2013 and currently have about ten different in-progress works.
