After coming across this post on Tumblr about how Wattpad is now having readers report if someone is finishing a story or not, and in hence, sending you an email about it, I'm thinking about abandoning my idea of uploading the rest of my works onto here and just sticking to Archive of Our Own instead.

I will not be harassed into writing something that is written for free and for fun. And not to mention, Wattpad has had a LOT of problems in the past with certain things. It's only continuing to get worse here.

@timeladyjamie Yeah, this is one of the reasons I've had to learn to filter out certain messages or comments I get; at the end of the day, you're the one writing at your pace, not theirs.

That being said, I think it's great that you've decided to post here as well; it's given me a chance to read The Language of Flowers for a second time

Wondering if I should post my other stories onto here??

I've mostly been heavily working on a Snily (Harry Potter) story over on Ao3 for months now.

I'm kinda sad now because I just finished plotting out the rest of my "The Elvenking and Elvenqueen of Mirkwood" series to the ending and it's always so sad, but also gratifying when I finish a series.

However, I'm debating making a part 3 for it (which of course follows LOTR) or keeping the rest of it in Part 2 "Eternal Love"?

          Thoughts?

Kind of in the mindset of: "Screw it if no one else will read these stories or give them much attention, I love it and wanna tell it, so I'm doing it for myself." So here's me saying I'm coming back to update my "The Fighter of Gallifrey" series. Thank you very much!

Just putting this friendly reminder out there because I also need it for myself: the story that you’re writing only needs your approval. You aren’t just writing it for others to enjoy. You are writing it because you’re passionate about it and it brings you joy.

Don’t let anyone else take that from you, most of all, yourself

I really hate it when someone has to make a saved list for “hated books and couldn’t finish” and then have the AUDACITY to add one of mine to it just because they KNOW I will see they did so. I’m really not in the mood for humanity lately. People like that are just terrible and if you do this, SHAME on you! Writing that story really helped me through a tough mental time and I could use that same joy I got from writing it right now…
