Okay I was gonna go through and edit nightmares but I realized two problems:
1) I kept switching back and forth between past and present tense for some reason so a lot of sections would need to be completely rewritten
2) if you edit a section the in-line comments disappear and that makes me sad :(
So maybe I'll just keep it a mess LMAO

I've been catching up on doctor who bc I somehow missed the entirety of the 13th doctor's era and the timeless child arc is just making me really want to rewrite nightmares once and for all. Especially since it'll turn 10 years old this October... No promises though

Rewatching doctor who bc it's been like five years and oh my god. Aplans have two heads. I made the Time Lords have two heads in my made up lore. The weeping angels episode is the one where Haydie and the Doctor mind meld. Why the fuck did I not do anything with that?? I'm shaking 14 year old me by the shoulders

@The_Doctor_guy yeah I wrote it when I was 14 or 15 so definitely not high quality work if I remember correctly, I planned out a vague outline and then used that as a guide. A lot of it was me figuring out which episodes I could repurpose to fit into my own story without staying too much from canon (did I succeed in that? not sure). I wrote it all before uploading which I'm SO glad I did bc there were some bits here and there that I went back to and changed. Couldn't have done that if I uploaded as I was writing

Hey.
So after like 5 years I've decided to finally proofread and edit nightmares. I wrote it on a Kindle so there are a lot of typos and weird autocorrected words that make no sense. I'm not gonna like change the plot or have scenes drastically changed (well maybe one or two scenes. If you read the story you'll know which ones I mean) so don't worry about that. I'm on winter break still so it probably won't take that long to finish. Just wanted to give y'all a heads up.
