Bloody hell, that was quick! Had only just posted that last part up. As always, thanks.
As for your new idea, sounds interesting. My advice: write the last part - even just the final paragraph or two - first. That way you'll know where you're going, what journey your characters need to make to reach that point.
Research your historical detail well. One of my other ideas is about the remains of an Italian prisoner of war being dug up, and I've filled an entire notebook with scribblings about political background, camp conditions etc. It's like writing police procedural stuff - readers will know when you're just winging it.
And remember the old adage: show, don't tell. That is, if you simply show the reader what happens rather than explaining everything, they'll make their own inferences and enjoy the experience more.
See your read count's going up nicely with Macabre Horror. Remember, if you start the new idea you'll be able to move your readership over with you. If you plan getting into the 1000s though readers are going to want to see you've posted up a couple of reading hours of material already.
Another old adage: don't get it right, get it written!
Good luck.
