he pauses for a moment , led spinning yellow . thinking to himself for a moment before he finally gets the courage to speak up .  “  what do you mean people ?  “  he questions her . he knows there was a boundary between androids and humans but to think that when he was working . they didn’t seem to care about him and treated him unfairly compared to his human co workers . “  is that  —  why they didn’t help when i was ..  “  he stops in his tracks . immediately going silent .

@beatenmedic ] ❛ that's . . terrible . ❜ the detective made a face as she sighed , looking back up at the android with her brows furrowed . ❛ they just treat you guys like you're replaceable . like you're not even people ! ❜ and oh , she had let that slip , but she didn't even care at that moment . she was tired of hearing androids talking about their treatment like they weren't more than their programming ; just because you were told you had to do something doesn't mean you had to live with it . and she usually ended up accidentally giving androids those mindsets . 

he watches her inspect his card , remembering the times patients turned violent on him .  “  we had them clipped onto our shirts . there’s a barcode on me somewhere as well , they added it to keep inventory on how much androids they had and which ones they had to replace . “  joseph states , feeling nothing toward the card . speaking about it as if it wasn’t a big deal that he and the other androids were treated unfairly . though , he didn’t recognize anything bad with it . 

@notfeeIing ] ❛ you're not gonna be deactivated , i promise but you need to calm down , okay ? ❜ her eyes softened at the sight of such a young android standing across from her in fear ; she had been checking out a crime scene earlier when she got a call of a suspicious droid running through the streets . she hadn't expected the girl across from her , figuring the killer would've be human but here she was . ❛ . . are you hurt anywhere ? ❜ she would never admit it out loud but she had a soft spot for androids , especially the younger models , and she knew that it was important to make her feel safe so she didn't accidentally shut herself down out of fear .
