Wrote this for you <3 the era of this app is decreasing all the years. But the fact that you are one of the very first few friends I had back then, never changes, it's like you cant be forgotten. You are actually one of the best Influence I got from this app too, and the first person I had ever wrote a poem for and I guess I am the first to write one for you, so that's a fair match. I think you were 17 when we first met and its crazy how the years passed and yet you are still the sweetest person ever. Imma say this infinite, you and your impact can't be put into words. i picked this up because i was in a fantasy and romance mood. and this delivered somewhat. the first book is a poor excuse for romance, everything was very insta-lovey for my liking. the writing is pretty and flowery which i did like at first but it was also getting a bit unnecessary at times. like i do not need such long descriptions when you can just get to the point no? the curse wasn't really surprising, saw it coming. overall the first book was very predictable. but i liked the stories within stories part. i like and not like the fmc at the same time. we're just told of how special she is, nothing really is done to showcase it well. and the fact that they slept together on the night of their arranged marriage felt a little rapey. i like khalid but yeah only normal amounts. my favourite character is probably jalal or despina.

ok the epilogue had to lift a lot of weight, the third chapter did nothing and the epi was left to tie all the strings up.
overall bleh book, a 2.5 out of 5
