as i’ve said , i believe you have the wrong house . [ it is perhaps her brief hesitation is shutting the door that allows the dam to break , that allows everything — all the pain built up from the UNSOLVED DISAPPEARANCE OF JULIE YE . that’s what it was , was it not ? a disappearance . no word of warning or a simple call to her phone ; JULIE YE , LOCAL SONGBIRD KIDNAPPED ; police place responsibilities in the public’s hand to report any possible sightings or knowledge of the whereabouts of their most beloved creature , stolen from the very nest of her would-be-girlfriend-but-it-was-never-official !!! ] i don’t have the time or patience to have my heart broken again , julie , i’m sorry . i don’t care if you miss me , i want to do what’s best for me , okay ? just leave . make this easier for me .

JULIE, and her pathetic little heart both reach out at once. a hand to weakly rest and apply what was left of her strength as if to get just one last glimpse of THALIA’s face. dimmed starred ingenue, the same as she’d left her. eyes just wet enough to serve as a point of vanity of the stars, for them to glance back at her and her at them. lips, chapped but never without overlaying gloss to shine most when she belted arias. JULIE, desperate, cracks on an ariose & typically beignet voice euterpe would kill for, to @godsadored: i missed you —! JULIE, couldn’t exactly fathom to let out any other thing other than the three words. of course, nothing could ever be simple with either her or the other around. and crawling back to where she’d sought refuge from the scouts of agents and managers and mother, made actual, edible food in the kitchen of and let designer garments she’d dismissed a tangle mess morning afters; back to, well, THALIA, hadn’t exactly been on her bucket list of things she was oh—gee—golly excited to do. JULIE: i can ——- leave. o—of course i can, leave— if you’d like but, UH, i think that was alluded when you clearly said, like, goodbye. as in.. bye. but our.. last bye, wasn’t exactly a good one. SO, uhm, uh.. i’d like.. to see you. just, that (..) i.. missed you.

[ from the moment light hand touches cool metal to the moment words begin to ring through her ears , she knew something felt wrong . perhaps it had been her godly intuition ( how ironic to dismiss her status as a GOD to something as measly as an ‘ intuition ‘ ) or perhaps it had been that knowledge a woman gets when they know that there is simply something awaiting them . the ‘ something ‘ of today’s attention was julie — jules . her jules . stood on the doorstep of her house with familiar bleach blonde hair and mouth that ran at a million miles per hour . she didn’t want to believe it ; some part of her had found … peace , in the other’s disappearance . how could she deal with the ghost of girlfriend’s past now appearing at her door ? ] i believe you have the wrong house , i’m truly sorry , i cannot help you . [ words are brisker than she expects them to be , having them just fall out of her mouth , rolling off her tongue is easy . perhaps this was her form of … self defence . self preservation . ] goodbye , [ and , with that final , cruel parting , door attempts to shut as if once again trying to close off that part of history ]
