25th July, 2026. After years of laboring through sickness and suffering, today my grandma passed away.

She was the most resilient, strong, and kindest woman I knew. The type of woman who made you feel at home, who looked at me and saw the best in me, even when I was at my lowest. She always hoped to get better and watch me build something for myself, get married, take her out somewhere.

I wish I could've done something to ease her pain. I wish I could've talked to her more. I wish I'd been there for her, and I wish I could go right now to see her one last time. I wish I could've helped fulfill her wishes. I wish that last month, before I left, when I kissed her forehead and told her not to cry because I would come back, she would know that I loved her.

Sometimes when a loved one passes away, you're often left to mourn not just the loss of their presence, but the decades of wisdom they held. Something that wouldn't ever come back.

Still, I hope to remember all the times she was kind and patient, before those where she suffered, hoping for it to end. That's the kind of lady she was, who hoped everyone would be able to live their best lives.

To everyone out there who's going through or has gone through the loss of a loved one, I want you to know you're not alone.

I hope she was at peace before she left. That she felt less pain, and passed away with a clear mind.

Thank you for putting on a brave face for all of us even when you were the one suffering the most. I hope you're in a good place.

          	Thank you for everything, Nani.
I'll love and miss you forever.
