With that, the curtain closes on The 29th Inquisition. This was my first time writing a crossover, and I'll admit at the beginning, I had no idea what I was doing. Then the middle was banger, and then at the end, I had no idea what I was doing. I don't think POV was handled as well. The Ultimate Rothschild had two separate storylines with their own narrators, and in Myriad, the POV flipped around depending on who was the most appropriate narrator at the moment. By forcing the POV onto a set rotation, there were a lot of scenes that were narrated by the least important character. Honestly, the book would probably be better if it were just narrated by Demi, Raymond, and Sage. However, I will say this, there were some badass lines of dialogue. "Either they step off, or we become the monsters they call us" will go down in history.
I think the ending was kind of abrupt, and depending on if I feel like it, I might write another sequel where they actually defeat the inquisition. In the near future, I hope you're ready for Fathoms of the Dark: Vanish and then WarioWare season 4!
