            “ no  ,  of course not !  if several cartoons have taught me anything—  one of those things are that stalking is NOT okay .  i just so happen to be in the area again !  ”

   `` still ... it's very sweet . `` he gave a small nudge with his shoulder to the other man's shoulder , giving a small smile . `` i .. uh .. yeah , I feel rested . `` he paused for a moment before taking a breath in and releasing it . he decided to test the waters , leaning his head head back on the other . `` but ... I guess I wouldn't mind ... staying like this for another minute ? ``

            “ dawh !  it’s just me lookin’ out for ya is all .  ” picani felt suddenly bashful though he tried his best to hide it , cheeks all rosy despite his best efforts .  “ you feel well-rested ?  i don’t really mind if you took a few more hours .  ”

    `` ahaha , you're too sweet .. `` the reassurance didn't do much as his face was slightly flushed . a part of him of didn't want to move from where he was leaning against picani , but he forces himself to move .

            “ i think it could be interesting .  ” he admitted , giving it another thought .  “ i mean..  sure !  why not !  i’ve never done something like this before so it could be fun !  ”

    `` if you don't mind . `` jaxon confirmed , he was curious . he wanted to see the other's method in action rather it just explained to him .

            “ and you betcha they’re serious !  ” the fellow therapist beamed , to him cartoons really were that serious .  plus , there was nothing wrong about still being a child at heart..  these cartoons meant a great deal to picani .  “ really ?  you mean it ?  wowie..  no one’s ever said that to me .  must sound funny to say that out loud..  huh ?  ” he let out a small laugh , rubbing the nape of his neck awkwardly .

    `` hey , cartoons are serious business . at least from what I saw the last time we hung out . can't just be watching those alone . `` he rubbed his neck , glancing away for a second before looking back , a shy smile tugging at his lips . `` but .. uh — yeah ! I'd like that . watching them with you , I mean . sounds better than anything I had planned , really  .. `` a small pause as he lowered his hand from his neck back to his side .

            picani felt relief surge through him at that which caused him to let out a breath he hadn’t known he’d been holding this entire time .  “ phew !  that’s a relief .  for a second there i was expecting a ‘no’ .  ” though , he couldn’t help the smile that followed afterwards .  “ glad to know you feel the same way .  plus it’s always a blast to have someone else to watch cartoons with rather than just myself .  and my dog..  and my cat..  ”

            adjusting his glasses a bit , picani offered a smile .  this surely wasn’t a date , simply just two co-workers going out together .  nothing usual about that , or that’s what he was telling himself anyways .  “ normally i just order to go from this one place but..  whatever you prefer !  i don’t mind !  ” he wasn’t the most pickiest person on the planet , so he could honestly eat anything .

    `` great .. great ! `` he grins , shoving his hands into his pockets . `` is there anywhere specific you would like to go to ? `` jaxon was kinda hoping because he truly didn't have anything in mind . or at least anything that was actually lunch worthy . he usually got by on something small like a snack  .

            picani peered up from where he’d been looking , that being the most recent notes taken from his last patient .  “ i’d love to come with you !  my next patient isn’t until much later anyways .  ” he smiled , setting down both the booklet and pen down gently before standing up with a small stretch .

            “ perhaps you should try seeing thomas’s point of view in that case .  i mean  ,  as a therapist  ,  i would know first-hand that anxiety isn’t always easily manageable .  even people with lesser intensity such as thomas .  ” he chose his words carefully , voice gentle but not too overbearing or pushy .  though picani was unusual with his methods , he still was a pretty darn good therapist .  “ are you sure that’s everything ?  no pressure  ,  of course .  we do however still have a few minutes left .  ” 

    ``  he says he can't get rid of him even if he wanted , but I think it's just excuses . `` his eyes rolled as he leaned back in the chair . `` so is that all , doc ? you heard how everything is . `` he ran a hand through his hair , this felt all unnecessary .

            “ oh..  i see .  ” his eyes widen a tad at those words , gaze remaining on remy before glancing downwards in order to jot some words down .  “ well then  ,  it’s good to hear that things have been better at least .  i assume anxiety is still an issue for you two ?  ” picani asked , glancing back up again .
