It can be harmful but it isn’t always. If someone forgot it was in and left it, but they don’t feel ill, have a fever, or any other signs or symptoms, they’re probably fine just to remove it. TSS makes itself very well known, the person would feel very sick very quickly.

@topclique21 I never wear tampons personally, but that’s definitely not good for you. Did u have a shower and stuff with it still in? Because that defo increases the risk. Plus toxic shock syndrome is a danger. I’d suggest just go to your doctor and get a check up and maybe some health advice? Just suggestions girly! Xx
