I'm gonna sound like the most cliché fanfic writer ever, but...life has *actually* been crazy. I spent 6 months working on my Eras Tour costume, went to The Eras Tour (absolutely incredible, best experience of my life), my health went to shit, and I lost not one, not two, but three jobs...and most of my friends. But it's fine, everything's fine. Why? Because THE TORTURED POETS DEPARTMENT comes out next month. Taylor always knows when I need her music the most, hehe. But if you're wondering about the username change, that should explain it.
          
          I don't even remember the last time I wrote something—it might have been before Midnights' release? Regardless, it's been a WHILE. And I'm sorry for that.
          
          First thing's first: you might have noticed that BOTH "One Single Thread of Gold" stories are no longer on my profile. There's a couple reasons for that. Taylor and Joe broke up, and I really haven't felt comfortable working on this story since then. I also don't quite feel comfortable writing Taylor into sexual situations. I'm aware that she's a 34 year old adult and sexual creature of her own, but it feels a little invasive. I don't know if it's true, because it's just a fictional story, but she's a real person. I'm not quite sure how I'd feel if I were famous and my fans were writing me into sexual situations in their fanfics. Probably, "hell yeah, this is better than my *actual* sex life." But Taylor Swift is not me, and I am not Taylor Swift (unfortunately), and I don't know how she'd feel about it. I'd really like to hear you guys' thoughts on that, though.
          
          So, I decided to just completely remove the two books, if you want to call them that. 
          
          BUT, I do have a new story about Taylor and Travis that I'm working on. No promises on when it'll be released, but I'll try to post the first few chapters at one time. You know us fanfic writers; our lives are crazy :P (god I haven't used that emoticon in years, but I'm on my PC & have no clue how to insert emojis)

Hey guys! Long time, no post, eh? Life has been super hectic lately and I’ve been incredibly busy. It’s slowing down a bit so HOPEFULLY I will upload the next part of my story soon! hey guys! i’m hopefully going to be working on the first chapter of the next book of A Single Thread of Gold, but it’s taking some time as I just got a new job and have been busy preparing and training for that. that being said, it’s possible the first chapter won’t come for a couple of weeks. the next two weeks i’m gonna be working 40 hours (it’ll lessen after that) and i don’t want to over-exert myself so if you don’t see a new chapter for a while, that’s why!! sorry to disappoint but it’ll come soon!

hi friends! so sorry i haven’t updated my story in a while. a lot has happened with my life recently (i was just diagnosed with lupus and fibromyalgia) and i also had to sell my macbook so i’m just waiting for my new one to come in! there should be a new chapter within the next few days. thank you guys for being patient! see ya soooooooooon
