@ghostedhome      hm.. almost everyone in town is obsessed with the show.  even if they don’t truly believe ghosts are real.

@townsnepo   *   it was on the tv at the diner i went to.

@ghostedhome     oh no,  i’m going to die now.  [  she covers her face with her hands,  ]  i can’t believe you watched it..

@ghostedhome     we don’t really get newcomers.  you’re the first one we’ve gotten for months now.

@townsnepo   *   are they like this every time someone new comes along? or just me?

@ghostedhome     tell me about it.  it’s like they’re still stuck in the 90’s.

@tiedspirit     [  she places her legs on his lap,  ]  soo you’re telling me you don’t say “boo!” when you scare someone?  what about the flickering lights?

you think you’ve got me all figured out,  don’t you.  [  foster crosses his arms,  sitting down on the couch beside her with a plop  ]   it’s so not accurate!! 

@tiedspirit     hmm..  [  she tilts her head,  ]  i don’t know,  foster,  i feel like it’s pretty accurate. 

/    they’re going to fight

@tiedspirit      i get it,  it’s awful but doing something like that is stupid and risky.  we don’t know how your curse works.

i just wanted to see if the curse still stood even out here.  [  he sighs,  pinching his nose in frustration  ]  do you know how awful it is to just be stuck here? 

@tiedspirit      and you love my surprises!   don’t lie,  you know you do.  right around this corner turn left and the store should be right there.

oh i’m sure you’d love to hear that.  [  foster walks over to the driver’s seat,  sliding inside  ]  for starters,  you have a knack for always surprising me. 

@tiedspirit     oh?  you’ve piqued my interest.  go on,  tell me my other qualities.  [  she slides in the passenger seat,  ]  you’ll see.  get in loser,  we’re going shopping!!

it is / so / depressing.  [  he chuckles lightly,  ]  but we can wallow in it and make fun of all the other cheesy christmases people are having. 

@tiedspirit      it’s fine.. i’m used to it by now.  [  a small quiet laugh,  ]  oh,  god.  that sounds depressing.  but i do like it—  just us being alone together.. it’s nice.

[  he hadn’t considered that,  chewing his inner cheek in thought.  he nudges her side gently,  ]  i’m sorry.  that’s not fair to you ..  you should be their priority.  [  he says,  ]  but hey,  you don’t have to spend it alone.  i’m alone too.  so,  we can be alone together.
