पुराने शहर के, पुराने घरों में रहने वाले मुसाफिर हैं हम...
सपनों के शहरों में कितना ही क्यों ना घूम लें,
वापस तो अपनी गलियों में ही आना है!
दिवारों से कितना ही रूठ लें हम,
आख़िर तरस भी इनके लिए ही जाना है...
ऐसा नहीं कि ख्वाहिशें तले हम सिमट जायेंगे!
पर जितनी आज़ादी है अभी,
उसमें सोच के ही हम घुट जायेंगे...
क्यों करें खुद को तंग...
जब उड़ान ही इतनी ऊंची नहीं है!!
जितना भी घूम के खुद को सहला लें,
मलहम के वक्त ये दीवारें ही याद आती हैं...
दूर होके भी जो घर याद आये।
तो सपनों को उड़ान यहीं से मिल जाती हैं।

This was written by my overthinking mind to shut down the chaos of chase happening around.
Isn't it so ironic that we start loving our confines so much, that flying high feels like an achievement and not our right?
That we blame the place we grew up and ended up missing it the most?
Although life has kept me busy!
But sleepless nights are the proof that our brain doesn't stop thinking, heart do crave more everyday and fragile body gets hurt in return.

And i miss this family of mine so much!!
