Good morning. 
          
          Look, we all know the facts about Alice Guo. A Pasig court has sentenced her to reclusión perpetua (20–40 years), after finding her guilty of qualified human trafficking.
          
          Even so, I’m still going to write my novel. Fiction and reality don’t always have to overlap. What happens in real life doesn’t have to dictate the stories I choose to tell.
          
          To those who support her, I understand and respect your feelings. But I also stand by the facts. For me, writing this story, even as fiction, doesn’t mean I’m dismissing or minimizing the gravity of what truly happened.

          Back then, I didn’t really take to heart what they told me about how busy and challenging college life can be. But now that I’m in my first year, I finally understand what they meant. That’s also why I haven’t updated for a month. I truly hope you’ll understand, and know I’ll update whenever I can.
