/ One of my favorite canon raven quotes is “she’s between here and somewhere else…somewhere no earthy light has ever shined…” and… wow…. this is so much… she really feels out of place of earth in such a dark way… but she also feels as if she could be your friend if you tried… because she truly is between here (a human) and somewhere else…(a demon) and… ah sometimes she feels so distant, as if you couldn’t touch her… and her gaze, a strange dark brown that’s actually a dark wine color… she’s really looking past your face, past your words, she’s looking within you…ah I love my ethereal demon

@hubrichero / raven, an omen of darkness, looking /through/ you, into the very depths of your soul.. “ i can take a look... if you are not opposed. ” truth be told, she can already feel it. the depth of his anger washing over her like a violent tidal wave of emotion. she has to block it out, less it prove a gateway for her father & the absolute end of all things. that she can not allow. in stead she focuses on other emotions, those she can feel constantly swirling beneath his anger, like his great capacity for good.

her powers are made to serve trigon
she’s gotta keep her demon tendencies subdued, and those tendencies rise when she uses violence or absorbs/changes people’s emotions
she’s very pro peace and does try to contain the threat before attacking
her body is human
she keeps healing her teammates and that weakens her (she keep fainting)
her mind-dimension is often plagued by trigon so she can’t always take all threats there
