I was shaped as a writer and a person by my early childhood where I grew up on a farm. My imagination grew wild in the old farm house, with creeks to swim in, friends, horses, space to dream, and sisters aplenty.

As I grew up and experienced the ups and downs in life, I discovered that life is like a patchwork quilt; and it needs to be stitched together with courage, friendship and persistence - themes you will also discover in my books.

After leaving school, I completed a Bachelor of Arts in Modern Asian Studies and later a Postgraduate Degree in Organisational Communication. Since that time, I have enjoyed helping support businesses and their people experiencing transformational change.

About 11 years ago, when my first child was still a baby, my love affair with writing began. Since then, in between working part-time and parenting a brood of scrumptious children, I have been writing during little stitches of "free" time in coffee shops, kitchen tables, libraries, and my study. In 2014, I published my my first book, BIRTH OF A DESTINY, my first book in the fantasy/ adventure Light Bearer series.

I am passionate about books: reading them, writing them and helping children discover the joy of reading, and encouraging their parents to support them. I love to connect with my readers and I feel privileged to write for them because I know they are old enough to have started their patchwork quilts, and yet they also possess incredible imaginations and a sense of adventure. I am thrilled to be a part of their reading journey.

I believe that it's important to keep being inspired in life. I am inspired by all the things that bring light into life: the natural beauty in this world, the seasons that blow in and out, true-love, forever friendship, hope, music, kindness, space, possibilities, and every itty-bitty ounce of my children. Sometimes, when I write, I experience magic, which makes me feel that writing is what I am supposed to do.
