          so i’m presuming you all know about the this recent movement that transphobes have been using to justify their bigotry called “super straight”
          
          i just want to make clear that i do not support that in any way, and that this is a safe place for and trans and nonbinary people, and that i’m really, really sorry that this is happening. you are valid and loved and welcome here. 
          
          super straight is NOT a part of the lgbtq+ community, and has nazi roots. there is a difference in sexual preference and sexuality. not wanting to date a trans person isn’t the transphobic part, because as long as you treat them respectfully, it’s alright to have a preference. but when the reason you wouldn’t date a trans woman is because “yOu wAnT a rEaL wOmaN” that’s when it’s transphobic, and that’s exactly what super straight is. people are identifying as super straight without even knowing that, and that’s not okay.
