sister delphinia had gone to many a church in her lifetime , but this one was her home for many years . she'd traveled to this small town , anchored in the heart of the woods && previously filled with pagans . she felt it was her calling to come here && minister unto these people , even if some of the older ones pushed back . now , the community embraces her presence as well as the other sisters within the monastery .
delphinia was making her final rounds of the night , having been the last on the schedule to ease the transition of seasons && sweep the fallen leaves of autumn . the processional rug had been rolled up from father matthias despite his olden back && the woman made herself useful in whatever way she could . he'd put new varnish on the pews && since hers was the last assignment of the night she would be the one to lock the gates && wooden doors of her beloved church . it was then she realized a figure had been watching her work && she dusted her blackened gown off before meeting them across the gate .

you can't be down here, ( the boy murmurs, gagging once more before proceeding to continue his spewing of intestinal tissue. it's getting thicker, less decomposed. there is a combination of unidentifiable fluid spilling from his lips as well as the large meaty chunks. his flesh is white, corpse-like, before he is curling up upon the ground. the crackling of bones is audible. ) it'll hurt you.
