Dear wattpadions,
Golden Panakes has changed their name to *burps*. Not even kidding, this is the name they chose. Anyways, we are writing a story about hybrids (half human, half animal) and we can't decide which plot to use. I haven't finished my prologue yet, but once I post my prologue, comment on who's your favorite. By the way, *burps*'s prologue exceeds the words limit so the prologue is in two parts.
Footsteps echo throughout a dark chamber and through long corridors into a bright, naturally lit observatory surrounded with herbs and animals, both common and rare. Sighing, the mage sets his head down on the table. One last chance, I just hope my people will believe me when I tell them what has happened. The warlock raises his staff and begins the enchantment to go back in time and warn his people of the great evil coming that caused him to be the last of magic users. Suddenly, faint echoes of shouts and clomping feet are audible, increasing in volume every second. Frantically speeding up the enchantment, he sees an armor-clad soldier clutching a spear burst through the doors of the observatory. Lunging at the mage, the soldier’s spear drives deep into his target’s stomach, mortally wounding him. The mob, a mix of both soldiers and peasants, pour through the sanctuary and see the warlock lying on the floor, blood pooling around his body, and they rejoice. Celebrating death that will claim the mage in a few minutes. They raid, loot, and pillage herbs, plants, food, and anything of value, desecrating the place and the mage's already mangled body. They leave the warlock on the floor to bleed out and die. With mere seconds left before the extinction of magic, a tiny fawn wanders up to the dying warlock and places her hooves on his forehead. Soft green light fills the room. The warlock starts to shudder and twitch and then goes completely still.
