@Victorytigeress the movies make bounty hunters look pathetic...
          do NOT use the movies as a source for bounty hunters it is embarrassing. 
          
          If you must know, the two scenes that portray Jango`s and Boba`s (two bounty hunters) defeats are:
          
          Jango, during the fight in the coliseum, where Anakin, Obi-wan and Padme were held captive. Jango Fett gets killed by Mace Windu when the Republic Rescue Fleet came.
          
          Boba Fett, during the execution of Luke, Chewbacca, and Han Solo being held by Jabba the Hutt, Han Solo accidentally hits Boba`s jetpack with a spear, while they were trying to save themselves. Boba Fett`s jetpack malfunction and rolls in to the sarlacc pit. In the movies they don`t show him dying, but in the comics he saves himself.
          
          There is a rumor that Disney is making a Boba Fett/Han Solo movie so that would show a lot of bounty hunter scenes. Hopefully good ones.
          
          Another good bounty hunter is Calo Nord. Except he is not in the movies. He is in the game kotor, Knights of the Old Republic
          
          If you want to see good scenes of a bounty hunter though, I suggest the cut scenes of Star Wars: Bounty Hunter, it is a game.
          
          It is a game on Jango Fett and you can watch the cut scenes on you tube. It was made when video game producers actually cared about good cut scenes not just graphics
